VAR Network Hires Robert Butler as New Director

DRAPER, UTAH - January 7, 2007 - Telarus, Inc. today announced the most recent addition
to its VAR Network team, Robert Butler, who will serve as the new director of the
VAR program and will oversee all telecom equipment lead generation, recruitment of network
integrators and value added resellers, and agent support activities. Butler comes to
VAR Network by way of NewEdge Networks, where he specialized in multi-site retail broadband
sales through VARs.
"Robert Butler is a very talented individual with a wealth of experience managing VAR partners"

Butler will oversee the operations of both VARPartner.com and VARNetwork.com. His specific
duties include the training and support of VARs who have signed up directly with Telarus/VARNetwork
as well as those recruited by ShopforT1 product specialists and lead generators.

The VAR Network generates telecom equipment leads for VARs who are enrolled in
VARSearch(tm). These leads are generated from affiliate-driven web sites such as
VARNetwork.com as well as by private labeled VARSearch(tm) XML plug-ins. In
December 2006, VARSearch delivered over 800 unique leads to its network of VARs.
Included in these leads were requests for Avaya PBX systems, telephone handsets,
wiring jobs, software support, VoIP equipment and deployment, high-end computer networking equipment,
and more. VARs are rated by VARSearch(tm) based upon geographic proximity to the customer, previous customer feedback, agent feedback,
and VAR's level of participation with ShopforT1's core telecommunication services business.
