VAR Network.com Registration Reaches One Thousand
by Michelle Edwards
DRAPER, UTAH - VARNetwork.com, a wholly owned subsidiary of Telarus Inc, today
announced the successful registration of its 1,000th VAR partner, expanding its
VARSearch(tm) footprint and delivering equipment and service leads to a record number of technicians.
"The one thousand VAR partner milestone is one that we did not think we would reach
this early into the roll out of the VAR Network. We are humbled and excited by it's
rapid growth and adoption by so many industry experts" commented Adam Edwards, president
of Telarus, Inc.
"What's more, our system is still very young. We continue to receive invaluable feedback
from our VAR members as well as our telecom purchasing experts that we plan to incorporate
into VAR Network 2.0. Our goal of creating a user-friendly web site that allows customers,
VARs, and telecom purchasing experts to all work in tandem is now within reach."
Since the beta launch of VAR Network back in June 2006, the number of technicians who
receive telecom equipment leads from VARSearch has grown 100%, from 202 to 405. Telarus
plans to have 2,000 VAR partners by the end of 2006, with 1,000 VARSearch profiles.
According to Patrick Oborn, CIO of Telarus, "We are confident that we can hit our continued
growth targets for the VAR Network. We intend to do this by generated massive quantities
of Cisco,
ShoreTel,
Lucent,
NEC,
3Com,
Toshiba,
Avaya,
Vodavi,
Nortel, and
Mitel equipment and
service leads to our partners. As we speak we are deploying hundreds of VARSearch
portals through our network of 40,000 internet marketing partners. As more leads
are produced and delivered to our VAR partners, excitement will continue to build
and more VARs will flock to the program - which is exactly what happened when we
started ShopforT1.com 3 years ago. People go where the leads are."
