VAR Network Launches VARPartner.com to Recruit
Telecom Equipment Installers, Dealers, and Technicians
by Michelle Edwards
DRAPER, UTAH - Telarus, Inc. today announced the official launch of VARPartner.com,
a web site dedicated solely to the recruitment of new VARs to the VAR Network program.
All value added resellers who become members of the VAR Network are eligible to have
their profiles listed in the VARSearch(tm) database. VARSearch(tm) receives dozens
of queries a day from the general public looking for experienced and certified
telecom equipment dealers and technicians in their local area.
"We are excited to release the VAR Partner.com web site to our agents" commented Adam Edwards,
President and CEO of Telarus, Inc. "One of our major focus in 2006 has been the
construction and roll out of our VAR Program. VARSearch(tm) is now delivering telecom
equipment leads to our network of VAR Partners on a consistent basis, which in turn is
generating excitement in the agent and VAR communities. Bringing in more VARs will
continue to help us improve the quality and quantity of future equipment leads as
more qualified buyers will be matched up with the appropriate VARs in their local area."
VARPartner.com will work in tandem with VARNetwork.com, with VARPartner focusing
on VAR recruiting and VARNetwork focusing on the generation and delivery of
telecom equipment leads to the VARs currently subscribed in the ShopforT1 VAR Program.
"As we continue to build software that encourages close working relationships with VARs,
we remain attentive to the suggestions and ideas of our agents" added Patrick Oborn,
CIO of Telarus, Inc. "The VARPartner.com concept was born from a ShopforT1 sales
agent suggesting we create a site to which they could refer their VAR prospects - one
that explained in plain English the advantages and benefits of our program. As with
all of our sites, this is the first version. Expect the site to evolve as we receive
more feedback from our users. What you see now, both in terms of web marketing
traction and web content, is just the beginning."
The ShopforT1 VAR program generates equipment leads for VARs who are enrolled in
VARSearch(tm). These leads are generated from affiliate-driven web sites such as
VARNetwork.com as well as by private labeled VARSearch(tm) XML plug-ins. In
September 2006, the first full month of operation, VARSearch delivered over 90
unique leads to its network of VARs. Included in these leads were requests for
PBX systems, telephone handsets, wiring jobs, high-end computer networking equipment,
software support, VoIP equipment and deployment, and more. VARs are rated by VARSearch(tm)
based upon geographic proximity to the customer, previous customer feedback, agent feedback,
and VAR's level of participation with ShopforT1's core telecommunication services business.
Arvind Goel, president of NeoBits, Inc., had the following to say about the VAR Network program:
"I have been pleasantly surprised by the quantity of leads VAR Network has been able to generate
for us and our agents in such a short period of time. What is even more surprising is the quality
of leads - these people are really looking to buy or give out service contracts right now. You've
truly done a super job of tapping into this massive demand pool!"
Another industry expert, Greg Ottensmeyer of TelephoNET Corp agrees.
"ShopforT1 is the quintessential T1 lead generator and we're excited to see this bright group
of marketers do the same for the VAR industry. As a VAR Partner we've been able to grow our
sales and expand our resources."
"Looking ahead, we see great things on the horizon for the VAR Program" continued Edwards. "It
is our hope that the relationships we build with VARs will allow us to become the preeminent
telecom master agent in the country, and at the same time build the clientele of our
VAR partners using our affiliate's marketing muscle. Everybody wins in our system."
