VARNetwork.com ("VAR Network" or "we" or "us")
use this web site to generate leads for our VAR partners who specialize in
selling and servicing business phone systems and Internet network hardware.
To use this Web site, you must first register to become a member of
VAR Network. Here you will have the chance to
enter in your name, business name, installation phone number, contact phone number,
your email address, and the physical installation address where you
require service. This information will be used by certified Telarus VAR partner
to both contact you and to assist you with your service call or, in the case
of a new system purchase, assist you with the decision-making process,
outlining the strengths and weaknesses of each make and model of the
equipment brand you requested.
If you do not wish to be contacted, do not enter your information in our contact
form. This site is designed to be an online help desk for business who are
experiencing difficulty with their current phone systems (or computer networks)
and need immediate assistance. We do not offer rates or any other type of
comparison shopping, and you can not buy any product from us. All you can
do is find service technicians in your area who can help you with your
situation.
If you choose to submit your contact information, you will receive an email
thanking you for your service request. This email will contain a link that will
make it possible for you to request
additional contact from members of our support team. No additional system-generated email
will be sent to you once you receive the initial "Thank You" message.
In order to provide our VAR partners with the most accurate information
about our visitors as possible, Telarus, Inc. supplements the
data we collects with additional data received from third party sources - such as
address validation, phone number/zip code matching, and email address pre-screening.
Most portions of this web site are accessible and viewable by the public, but not
all visitors may use it. VAR Network reserves the right to blacklist any user
whose actions are deemed offensive or inappropriate in any way. Such behavior may include attempting
to mine or extract sensitive VAR partner information for the purposes of competing or using
that information unfairly.
Information About Our VAR Partners
During the course of the VAR Network "find a technician" process the user will be
presented with a list of VARs in their area. Under no circumstance will we disclose the
full names of the technicians in the list until phone contact has been made with a Telarus
employee, who will verify the user's information is accurate. General fact-finding
exercises without the intent to procure our VAR partner's technical services are prohibited.
Your Information
Once you enter your contact information into VAR Network, it is transmitted
securely to a Telarus employee. The role of the Telarus employee
is to perform additional research and help match you up with the most appropriate
service technician or equipment dealer. Once the lead assignment has
been made, only up to two VAR partners may have access to your information,
in addition to the support staff who are full-time employees of Telarus.
After you enter your information you will receive an automated confirmation email.
Likewise, you will also receive email correspondence from a real-world
Telarus VAR partner who will contact you to set up a service call.
You will never receive any general newsletter or other form of unsolicited mail that
does not relate to your phone/Internet equipment service call and/or purchase.
The information transmitted to our VAR
partners will not be shared, sold, rented,
or traded with third parties for their promotional purposes.
Choice/Opt-out
We provide you the opportunity to 'opt-out' of having your personally identifiable
information used for certain purposes, when we ask for this information. For example,
if you purchase a product/service but do not wish to receive any additional
marketing material from us, you can indicate your preference on our service request form.
If you no longer wish to receive our communications or those from the VAR partner
assigned to work on your account, you may opt-out of receiving them by following the
instructions included in each newsletter or communication or by emailing us at
unsubscribe@varnetwork.com. We offer an opportunity to opt-out of certain
communications on our user login pages, or you may contact us at

You will be notified when your personal information is collected by any third
party that is not our agent/service provider, so you can make an informed choice
as to whether or not to share your information with that party.
